I know I am a little late posting 6 month photos and events. It has been one busy month. Weston is growing (as always :)) like a weed. He is sitting up and successfully reaching for what ever he wants. He is eating twice a day and enjoying everything with the exception of rice cereal. I have to mix that with fruit. I am not to worried though. His 6 month visit went as planed. He is 75% in height, 60% in weight and a wooping 85% in head circumference.
I am pretty sure he is reconizing his name and he is babbling like crazy. His fav. is blowing rasberries. :) We do a range of activities throughout the day like: walks, mat time outside, piano time, toy time, book time and much much more. Wes also loves grandparent time. They have been such a great portion of his care and I think them all from the bottom of my heart.
Weston has started going to Mothers Day Out and the workout center daycare. It has not been an easy start but I know he will enjoy it a little more each time.
Thank you for following and please leave a comment.

Making Pumpkin Baby Food!
What you will need:
1. Roasting Pan
2. Of course, the pumpkin
3. Cooking spray
4.ice cream scooper
5. large knife, small knife
6. blender
7. Ice cube tray
First, spray your pan with cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 350.
Cut the top of your pumpkin
Using your ice cream scoop, scoop out the inside. (save the seeds to roast for later)
Cut the pumpkin in half
Scrap and clear all the loose stringy inside
Cut into small pieces and add water to the pan (1/4 inch full) Place in the oven and let cook for 45 minutes or 1 hour. ( or unit meat is soft and can be cut easily with a knife.)
Cut meat from skin
Place in blinder and add a small amount of water.
Blind until smooth
Place in ice cube tray and freeze. When frozen, place in labeled ziplock bag. This will keep for 3 months in the freezer. :)
My 5 month old. He is starting to move mountains. He is reaching for objects he sees and is steam rolling in one directions. We has started tasting different foods. Homemade, of course. So far he's tried rice cereal, peas, banana, sweet potatoes and pumpkin. His favs. are sweet potatoe and banana. Foods he will tolerate are peas and pumpkin and does not like rice cereal. He is absolutely a joy and blessing. More pics to follow.

Our Florida Trip
Rob, Weston and I had our first trip to the beach together. What an amazing time! We are very greatful and thankful to the McAnally's! We were so thankful Hurricane Isaac passed right on by. The sun was shining and the morning showers was refreshing. We enjoyed the hammocks under the house and nights out on the dock. We were fortunite to share our vacation with grandpa and grammy Deb. We saw dolphins and stingrays right from our back door. L-O-V-E! Weston enjoyed the ocean breeze blowing through his hair! The smiles were priceless. He even turned over for the first time!!!! (back to belly) What a time stamp of a milestone!
As for the plane trip!!! Coming home did not go as well as going there. I guess Weston didn't want to come home! He was a doll on our way there! (morning flight) Go home, He cried nearly the whole time. (afternoon flight) I guess it doesn't matter how much you prepare. If he's going to cry; he's going to cry!

Hello all,
Weston is surely growing since the last time I blogged. Just two weeks ago, he started breaking his first tooth and now, his second tooth is coming in!!! What a big boy. Last week he had his 4 month check up and he is doing great! He is in the 75th percentile in wt, ht, and hc. Weston was 16 pounds and 4 ounces. He is practically ready to be in size 3 diapers and the carrier is starting to get heavy! He is working on his roll over from back to belly and practicing the crawl motion. He really is a fun baby and laughs more than cries! Here are a few pics!
